Design & graphics
Royal Mint Megaways gets its name from the company that makes coins and banknotes in England. It is very appropriate for a slot, at least one that spews out winnings of up to 40,000 x wager, as Royal Mint megaways does.
Now from a graphic point of view, Royal Mint Megaways is actually quite boring and the reels themselves have exactly the same layout as Opal Fruits, and the symbols are largely the same as Big Time Gaming has used on several similar slots in the past. The reels are set against a large backdrop of the Johnson Smirke building in London, home to the Royal Mint since 1809.
The building is great to look at and naturally fits the slot’s theme, but the background is far too large compared to the reels. Yes, the slot plays perfect on mobile, but there are still many playing on a PC.
