Well, depending on what casino you joined you either have to play only using your own money, or you have to keep an eye on the casino’s promotion site where you should be able to find several bonuses and campaign offers.
One of the bonuses that any quality casino should offer you, is a deposit bonus often called “Match bonus”. In many ways the match bonus works in the same way as the welcome bonus, but there are some differences.
How does the Match bonus work?
The match bonus is quite self-explanatory. It’s a bonus where the casino will match your deposit up to a certain amount. How much you can get out of a match bonus will vary a lot depending on the casino, but 50% to 100% up to a certain amount (such as 100 Euro, 100 Dollars or the equivalent in any other local currency) is not uncommon.
Let’s say you make a deposit of 200 Euros. The casino will then give you a bonus of 200 Euros so that you will have 400 Euros available to play with.
Why use the match bonus?
The match bonus is a great way to top up your account without having to spend too much of your own hard-earned money. It always feels good to have some extra spending cash and that’s just what the match bonus gives you.

We all love receiving free money, but then there’s the terms and conditions that comes with it. It is possible to find bonuses without a wagering requirement, but they are far and few between. Almost all bonuses will come with certain wagering requirements, meaning you will have to wager the bonus money received a certain amount of times before you can transfer the money from your casino account to your bank account.
How does the wagering requirements work?
Wagering requirements is simply the casino saying, “we want a chance to win our money back”. Keeping in mind that this is free money for you, you can’t really blame them. That is, as long as they play fair.
Normally the wagering requirements will be between x 30 and x 45. If the casino has wagering requirements of more than x 45, look elsewhere. It’s just not worth it, and you will most likely never be able to meet the requirements anyway.
For example: Let’s say you receive a 100 Euro bonus and the wagering requirement is x 30. That means you will then have to wager/play for 3,000 Euros (100 x 30) before you can withdraw money from the casino to your personal bank account.
Now this may sound like a lot but depending on the time scale the casino gives you it’s not so bad. Some casinos will give you 7-10 days to meet the wagering requirements and that’s fine, as you actually have a shot of making it without leaving your day job.
Other casinos will only give you 72 hours and are basically setting you up to fail. Therefore, you should always check the small print or read our casino review before you accept any bonus.
Wagering free spins
Free spins are in fact free, but most casinos will have wagering requirements on any winnings. In other words, if you get 20 free spins and end up winning 1,000 dollars, you will have to wager the 1,000 dollars a certain amount of times before you can make a withdrawal to your bank account or Neteller account.
